A Meme (Whatever that means)

Which book do you irrationally cringe away from reading, despite seeing only positive reviews? Hmm, maybe . . . nope can't think of anything. If you could bring three characters to life for a social event (afternoon tea, night of clubbing, perhaps a world cruise), who would they be and what would the event be? Three, just three. Daine from "The Immortals" series - Come on, she talks to animals and can become them. :D Mr. Darcy ;) - I can't believe no one pick that. Elizabeth Bennett - She has to come too, I can part her from Darcy. The event would be . . . roadtrip? (Borrowing shamelessly from the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde): you are told you can't die until you read the most boring novel on the planet. While this immortality is great for a while, eventually you realize it's past time to die. Which book would you expect to get you a nice grave? War and Peace might do the job nicely. Come on, we've all been there. Which book have you pretended,...

President's Day Weekend

So on Saturday, I went to a friends bridal shower. I had a lot of fun and gave her a nice photo album. There was lots of nummy food and I even curled my hair for the occasion. It's weird to be old enough to have friends that are getting married. It reminds me that I'm old. :P Afterwards, me and my mom went to Fred Meyer and I bought Taking Chances , Celine Dion's new CD. It has some pretty good songs on there. Her voice haves a lot of power. Some of the songs aren't as great as others though, but that's okay. :) Yesterday I went to a bonfire with some friend. It was fun. I also finished New Moon and I have to say I think I'm a Edward fan. To read my full review, click here . Now I'm sitting here in my pajamas convincing myself to take a shower. Here I go, I'm going, any minute now . . . really I am going. Bye.

February

That is a great word, you know? Ever since I learned the correct way to pronounce it, I've liked it. And here is a song to go with. This is a lame post. Hmm, what else is there for me to say? . . . . Um, Happy Valentine's Day, tomorrow. If you are into that holiday. I've never really cared for it. But there you go. :)

Praise to the Man

Today I woke up and it would be an ordinary Sunday. But it's been one surprising day. First I came home from church early today because the snow was coming in good where I live. This evening, about twenty or thirty minutes ago, my family learned that Gordon B. Hinkley , the prophet of my church, passed away. It's really odd when someone you know, but not personally, dies. At least for me. I don't feel like crying, or really sad, just awed that they have left this earth for a different mission. I'll never forget him. He was a wonderful, lovely, funny old man.

Update

Not doing so well on my resolution. I'm doing better at doing other things, but I got bored of my "morning routine". So yeah, that's me. :)We got our trampoline up this week. We got one for Christmas. It has a net around it so you won't fall out as easy. This is what it looks like. It's pretty fun. My brothers like it.

New Year for Goals

Heh, it's eight days into 2008. I've decided on a resolutions this year. While right now I'm not doing so good at my resolution to spend less time on the computer at the moment, I've been doing better on other things. I'll list them out and add my progress of eight days. Just because it looks nice when you list them. :) Less time on internet/computer - I do okay with this one until about 2:00pm. Getting up earlier - I've been waking myself at 8:00am with my alarm clock. It's only an hour difference from my original wake up hour of 9:00am, but I feel better about myself doing this. I've also decided to do an AM Yoga tape we have. The male instructor is dressed in a Speedo, which makes me glad that yoga requires you to close your eyes. ;) Then I read my scripture and take a shower. Working on my Church duties (callings, visiting teaching) - I'm still working on that, but I'm going to trying and play to practice the piano for Sunday. Doing ...

Christmas Break

I've had a nice Christmas, how about you? It's so weird that it was just last Tuesday. It seems millions of years ago. Now it's almost the end of 2007. Tomorrow is my youngest brother's birthday, he'll be 8 years old. :) It one of my uncles' birthdays tomorrow as well.
