Catherine Hardwicke's Twilight

Well, I've seen, hear, and will now tell. And no spoilers here. I do like it, I do. Yes, there is inaccuracies, but 500 pages in 2 hours isn't going to happen. The important thing is, the story, the main plot is the same. The character's behaved like they should, and I think the actors did a fair job of bringing them to life. My mom's friend that we webt with didn't like who they picked for Bella, but I thought Kristen Stewart did her job well, and I'm not picky so I applaud her performance. Edward . . . hmm, I don't know. You see, I am fine with Rob, as i said, I'm not picky. He did good with his American accent, I think I only heard him slip once. But I've always been a little meh about Edward. Sure he's a nice guy, sure he cares for Bella gallantly, but beyond that I don't have dreams of meeting him and kiss his picture before I go to bed. I thought this was cool when I got onto my blog and saw that it said 7 days & hours and 7 mins. I showed it to my brothers and they had me push the print screen button when it said 7 secs. Now it is preserved for posterity.

Thoughts on the MADNESS fueled by prop 8

If you live in California, you're probably familiar with this prop. You've probably heard of it in other places too. It has caused quite a lot of controversy. But nothing excuses violence and down right mean-ness against one group of people from another. This is Wrong: This is Wrong: The late local news showed scenes of several Hispanic females in tears outside the temple trying to remove the signs desecrating the walls and fences surrounding the temple. As these individuals – who according to a temple spokesperson were not church members – removed the hate-filled signs, the mob exploded and began beating the individuals to the ground. (Source: Meridian Magazine ) I'm not disallowing free speech, but going up and arms and attacking your fellowmen for them disagreeing with you is not right, whither you are Christian or not. It wasn't right when mobs ran us out of New York, Ohio, Missouri and Illinois. It wasn't right when Missourians tared and feathered our l
